2.1 Composition of prescription

Aiming at clinical performance and pathogenic characteristics of coccidiosis in chicken and establishing principles based on traditional Chinese medicine theory, anticoccidial powder is manufactured by compatible traditional Chinese medicine which owns the effectiveness of inhibiting multiple pathogenic coccidium infection and bacteria reproduction, enhancing immunity and improving performance. The pathogeny of the disease is dampness, heat, and coccidium, and the location of the disease is intestine. So curing method should be removing heat, dampness, and insect. In composition, herb with the function of removing heat and dampness, strengthening spleen, killing coccidium, enhancing immunity, eliminating heat and damp condition, and killing coccidium is applied for prevention and curing of coccidiosis.

 2.2 The composition of anticoccidial powder: Emodin, Arteannuin, artesunate, abrotine, Farnesyl acetate, caryophyllene, polymeric procyanidins and stilbene glucoside.
