4.1 Mechanism of anticoccidial powder

Anticoccidial powder has insecticidal effect on coccidia at all life cycle. The mechanism is that it directly acts on membrane of protozoa, firstly inhibits pellicle of protozoa and mitochondria membrane, then karyotheca and endoplasmic reticulum membrane, and it also has effect on nuclear chromatins. The way is disturbing surface membrane of coccidium-mitochondria, interdict nutrients supply of intestinal gland cytoplasm to birds, has distinctly and permanently inhibitory effect on aerobic metabolism and anaerobic metabolism of coccidium.

4.2 Effect of anticoccidial powder on chicken coccidiosis

Anticoccidial powder is a broad-spectrum anti-coccidial powder. It has obvious effect on control of the most serious coccidium of Eimeria genera. It exerts itself in forepart of coccidium, so it can effectively avoid the damage to intestinal tract caused by coccidium and mixed infection of coccidium.

Anticoccidial powder has inhibitory effect on different species of E.coli, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Shigella flexneri and other pathogenic bacteria, and prevent secondary infection.

Improve performance of birds, clinical experiment indicated that it could increase average daily weight gain of broiler by 12.6% (p<0.01).
